Over the weekend, Cosmopolitan hosted it’s first ever Fun Fearless Life Weekend in NYC at Lincoln Center. The two-day event was filled to the rim with empowering speakers, inspirational stories, and fun moments. Speakers included the likes of Spanx founder Sara Blakely, founder of NastyGal Sophia Amoruso, DKNY PR Girl Aliza Licht, Gabrielle Bernstein, Beverly Bond, and Gabrielle Union just to name a few!

The highly anticipated, inaugural Fun, Fearless, Life weekend kicked off withCosmopolitan‘s editor-in-chief Joanna Coles entering Lincoln Center among a group of shirtless male models. (Seriously though, what else would you expect?) However, just like turning the pages of Cosmo, the topic quickly switched from men to career advice when Sara Blakely of Spanx took the stage. The day was full of inspiring speeches and thought-provoking panels, but some of the best parts of the day were happening outside of the auditorium. Throughout the concourse of the venue, Fun Fearless Life partners had interactive stations, like the Maybelline makeup counters and the Express pop-up store. Cosmo readers from across the country — and beyond — connected with each other over their shared interests in fashion, career advancement, and leaving their mark on the world.
